Kate attended a casting call in miami for elite model management in 2008 and was signed by them the same day. she eventually moved to new york city , where she signed with IMG models.
As of april 2013 , she is ranked the third sexiest model just behind andriana lama and gisele bundchen on MODELS.com's top sexiest models.
Kate was named rookie of the year following her first SI-appearance in 2011 and in 2012 and 2013 she featured as a cover model.
